Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some commonly asked questions.
What are your service times?
Do you have cell service out there?
It's spotty. You probably have to go outside to get signal.
What kind of music should I expect?
We love singing straight out of the hymnal, but we also sing other songs with the words up on the screens. Don't forget the Sunday morning specials. Someone from the church will sing a special song.
Pews or chairs?
Pews. It's church, not Malco. *Just a little joke, but seriously, we have old-fashioned pews.
What is an average attendance?
This number is unlikely to be updated with any frequency, but at the time of writing, you can expect an average service to consist of between 50 and 100 adults on a Sunday morning.
Is there food?
We love to eat and often have meals at the church.
Is your church handicap accessible?
Most areas are accessible by wheelchair, but we have some areas that would not be accessible.
Is there a dress code?
We don't have a formal dress code. We believe you should come as you are! While we value modesty and ask that attire be appropriate for a place of worship, we're more interested in your presence than your outfit!
Will I be expected to pray/read out loud or anything like that?
Nope! We have plenty of introverts in our midst and we will not put you on the spot without obtaining permission privately, first.
What about my kids?
Great question! We have Sunday School and Nursery at the same time. Depending on the ages of your kids, we will help them get to the right place. After Sunday School, all the kids are brought into the sanctuary (sanctuary is just a fancy name for the main building where we have worship services.) where you will meet back up with them. The younger kids will sit with their parents during the first part of the service which includes singing and some announcements. Don't worry! Kids are loud sometimes. We understand. After singing, you can bring your younger kids back to nursery or keep them with you. The older kids can stay in the service to hear the sermon.
